To deactivate a domain, enable or disable it with all its dependent services. If a domain is disabled, no services will be rendered to it.
To disable a domain, follow these steps:
- On the Domains page, click the domain that you want to disable and select the Summary tab.
- Click Disable to disable the domain and its services. Confirm the operation by clicking OK in the pop-up window.
Now the State field is Disabled. To reverse the process, you can set your domain to Enabled again by performing the same operations as described for the Disabled procedure.
Note: After disabling a domain, its DNS configuration settings are also disabled and cannot be modified by you or the domain owner if the domain belongs to a reseller or a customer.
