Viewing the List of Name Servers and Name Server Suppliers

To obtain the list of name servers and name server suppliers registered in CloudBlue Commerce, complete these steps:

1. Go to Services > Domains and switch to the DNS tab.

2. Select the Nameservers subtab.

This list contains the following information about a name server or name server supplier:

• ID: The system identifier of this name server or name server supplier.
• Type: The type of this name server or name server supplier. The following types are possible:
  • BIND: A BIND name server.
  • External: An external name server. A name server of this type represents a name server that is not managed by CloudBlue Commerce.
  • Any supported type of name server or external DNS hosting provisioning system. CloudBlue Commerce can create, modify and remove DNS zones and DNS records using the CloudBlue Commerce DNS plugin approach.
• Name: The hostname of this name server (for name servers) or the name of this name server supplier (for name server suppliers).
• Nameserver supplier: It contains Yes (for name server suppliers) or No (for name servers).
• IP address: The IP address of this name server (for name servers) or N/A (for name server suppliers).
• In Use: This indicates whether this name server or name server supplier hosts DNS zones (Yes or No).
