Branding the DNS Server

You can specify the name or IP address of the DNS server as it will be displayed in your customers' panels (for example, on the DNS tab of a domain property page). For this purpose, follow these steps:

  1. Go to System > Settings > Brands in the Branding group.
  2. In the displayed list of registered brands, click the name of the brand you want to configure.
  3. Switch to the Service Branding tab, click DNS Branding.
  4. Click the required vendor's service name.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Select the branding type by clicking one of the options:
    • Internal: Use the provider's DNS server under your own name. Specify the DNS server prefix in the DNS Server Name field.
    • External: Replace the provider's DNS server with your own DNS server the correct work of which will depend on you. Specify the DNS server name in the DNS Server Name field.
    • No Branding: Use the provider's DNS server name as it is, without changes.
  7. Click Submit.
