Before you create a service template, you must define a set of resources that will be included in this service template. For this purpose, you can select some of the existing resource types from your resource types list. Besides this, you can create a new resource type to be added to your service template.
To create a new resource type, perform the following operations:
- In CloudBlue Commerce, go to Products > Resources.
- Click Add New Resource Type.
- Select the resource class you wish to use as the basis for the resource type being created.
The next steps of the Wizard for creating a new resource type depend on the selected resource class.
You usually need to specify activation parameters, that is, the parameters of an object that will be based on the resource type being created. However, you can put aside the specification of activation parameters until the service template creation.
