Operations User Interface

This chapter describes the Operations interface navigation tools.

We recommend that you read the whole chapter carefully and learn how to use the navigation tools, as it will greatly reduce the time spent on retrieving information and accomplishing various resource and account management tasks.

The main Operations window – the one that opens when you log in to Operations – is called the control panel.

The User Interface consists of multiple screens that are displayed in the control panel. The screens are organized into a multi-level hierarchical tree and can be navigated using hyperlinks. Through the control panel, you can directly access higher-level screens using the Console Root tree in the Navigation frame. The higher-level screens contain hyperlinks to lower-level trees and vice versa. To access the lower level screens that are not represented in the Console Root tree, you need to navigate screens down the hierarchical tree by following hyperlinks.

Note: If you log in as a customer, the UX1 for Customers is opened, described here.
