Importing Vendor-rated Usage Data for Processing

Vendor-rated Data Manager receives vendor-rated usage data in one of these ways:

• VRD Collector automatically sends vendor-rated usage data to Vendor-rated Data Manager using API.
• Vendor-rated usage data is imported from CloudBlue Connect using API.
• Vendor-rated usage data is uploaded manually using CloudBlue Commerce Provider Control Panel.

To upload vendor-rated usage data manually:

1. Log in to CloudBlue Commerce Provider Control Panel. Go to Services > Usage Reports.

   Note: The Usage Reports item is displayed in the menu only if Vendor-rated Data Manager is installed.

2. To download the usage report template, click Download Report Template.

   Note: The template contains usage report format and completion guidelines.

3. Following the instructions in the file, complete the General and Records tabs of the file with the necessary data.

   Warning: If you import a second usage report with the same ID before the first is processed or after the processing of the first fails, the second report will overwrite the data of the first report. This approach can be used for troubleshooting.

4. To upload the file, click Upload Report.

The successfully imported usage data is processed automatically. The usage data processing results are listed in the table on the screen.

Limitations

The imported usage data cannot be viewed in the UI. For reconciliation purposes, please store your uploaded report files outside the system.

Troubleshooting

• If there is an error in the data of a successfully uploaded report, you can correct it by uploading a correcting report.
