Deal Pricing
Deal pricing allows resellers to adjust prices on-the-fly in UX1 during a purchase. Two scenarios are possible:
- When an L1 reseller logs in to UX1 on behalf of an L2 reseller and can make a discount for the services to an L2 reseller.
- When an L2 reseller logs in to UX1 and can specify end customer prices by using a margin rate.
The system automatically defines who is logged in to UX1 and displays the screen either for the first or second case respectively.
When a reseller adjusts prices, it affects the prices of a subscription and resources included in the purchase order only; the service plan prices are not affected. A reseller can select the respective option to keep adjusted prices for a subscription after its renewal.
Note: The Keep adjusted price after subscription renewal checkbox is not available when Vendor Price is displayed.
In BSS, the adjustment of prices is done by creating a special promotion for a subscription. This promotion is not displayed in the list of common promotions. You can check that the spot pricing is applied to a subscription by opening the subscription and finding the Special Pricing value in the Promoted by field.
