Managing Usage Data Import
Usage Collector receives usage data in one of these ways:
- VRD Collector automatically sends usage data to Usage Collector using Batch Import API.
- Usage data is imported from CloudBlue Connect using File Import API.
- Usage data is imported automatically from service vendor using Batch Import API or File Import API.
- Usage data is uploaded manually using CloudBlue Commerce UX1 for Providers control panel.
Checking Usage Data Import Status
The successfully imported usage data is processed automatically. Usage data processing results are available in the UX1 for Providers control panel.
To check usage data import status:

Go to UX1 for Providers. Switch to the Usage Reports tab.
Note: The Usage Reports tab is displayed in the menu only if Usage Collector is installed.

Find the necessary usage report.
Note: For reconciliation convenience, for reports imported using the File Import API, the VENDOR REPORT column contains report names and IDs from the vendor system.

Check the report status in the Status column.

To check the report details, click the report:

On the Report tile, check these fields:
- Report Source: This field shows the import method: File Import API or Batch Import API.
- File: To view the source file for reconciliation purposes, click the link to the source file.
- To view usage record processing details, in the Usage Records list, click the necessary record.

Uploading Usage Reports Manually
To upload a usage report manually:

Go to UX1 for Providers. Switch to the Usage Reports tab.
Note: The Usage Reports tab is displayed in the menu only if Usage Collector is installed.

To download the usage report template, click DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE.
Note: The template contains usage report format and completion guidelines.

Following the instructions in the file, complete the General and Records tabs of the file with the necessary data.
Warning: If you import a second usage report with the same ID before the first is processed or after the processing of the first fails, the second report will overwrite the data of the first report. This approach can be used for troubleshooting.
- To upload the file, click UPLOAD REPORT.
The successfully imported usage data is processed automatically. Usage data processing results are listed in the table on the screen.
