Creating Delegated Service Templates and Plans for Resellers
This section explains how to create delegated service templates and service plans for resellers that will operate as provider's agents.
The following steps are required:
- Create a service template.
- Create a service plan in Billing.
- Delegate this plan via a "Reseller service template" plan to a CSP reseller.
A detailed description of each of the steps is provided below.
Creating a Service Template
To create a service template, perform the following actions:
- In Provider Panel, go to Products > Service Templates.
- Click Add New Service Template.
- Specify the following:
- Name – the name of the service template. For example: Azure Services.
- Description – the description of the service template. This parameter is optional.
- Autoprovisioning – it defines whether subscriptions based on the service template are auto-provisioned. Select the checkbox.
- Type – it defines the type of the service template. Select Custom.
- Click Next.
- Include the following resource types:
- Azure Application.
- Azure Tenant.
- Total Cost of Azure Services.
- Click Next.
- Specify the resource limits: set Azure Application to 1, Azure Tenant to 1, and Total Cost of Azure Services to Unlimited.
- Verify the settings and click Finish.
Do not use this service template for subscribing your own customers. Otherwise, your customers will see incorrect prices in the online store.

Delegating a Service Plan to a Reseller
To delegate a service plan to a CSP reseller:
- As a CSP Partner, go to Provider Panel > Billing > Products > Service Plans > Service Templates tab > Reseller service template > Delegated Plans tab > Add New Delegated Plan.
- Select the checkbox next to the Azure Services service plan to be delegated and click Add Selected Items.
- While still in the Billing panel, go to Products > Service Plans > Reseller service plan, and click Synchronize All Resellers.
Now CSP resellers will be able to subscribe their customers via the delegated service plans. Note that customers who purchase Azure services based on this plan through the online store will not see the price list.
