Creating a Reseller Account

Important: This documentation is for the APS-based Azure integration solution. If you are using a Connect-based Azure integration solution, please refer to the Connect documentation.

Before you can start working with Azure subscriptions, you must do the following:

  1. Create a reseller account in CloudBlue Commerce or request your provider to create one for you, if you do not have access to this option. A reseller account is needed for managing the Azure application.

  2. Subscribe the reseller account to the service plans called Azure Partner and Azure Customer Resources.

  3. Mark the reseller account as an "Operating unit". You can do this in Provider Panel > Billing > Operations > Resellers > reseller's name > General tab > Mark as Operating Unit(in the Reseller Settings group).

Enabling a Reseller to Sell Azure Services to Sub-Resellers

To enable a reseller to sell Azure services to sub-resellers, you need to delegate the Azure Reseller service plan to the reseller.
