Switching a CSP Partner for an Azure Subscription

Important: This documentation is for the APS-based Azure integration solution. If you are using a Connect-based Azure integration solution, please refer to the Connect documentation.

The process of switching a CSP partner requires a number of steps to be carried out by partners, customers, and Microsoft. These actions are described in the corresponding Microsoft sources and are beyond the scope of this guide.

The following conditions must be met before importing a subscription:

  1. A CSP customer, existing CSP partner and you filled in and signed the "Subscription Transfer Form". See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-solution-provider/customer-management/switch-subscription-to-different-csp-partner.
  2. You have a signed copy of the form with the following information: Subscription GUID, Customer Name, End-customer Tenant Name.
  3. You know the "Cut-off Date", which is the date when Microsoft billing is switched from the previous partner to you.
  4. All steps related to providing a partnership to you and transferring the subscription are completed.
  5. The customer's tenant and subscription are visible under your account in Partner Center.

When these steps are completed, proceed to Importing Azure CSP Subscriptions.
