Transferring from Azure CSP 7.x to Azure NCE 1.x

Important: This documentation is for the APS-based Azure integration solution. If you are using a Connect-based Azure integration solution, please refer to the Connect documentation.

Before you can start a transfer of accounts, make sure that OAuth credentials are specified:

  1. Log in as a reseller to the Reseller Panel and go to SystemUsers > Provider Staff.
  2. Click the username of the main staff member, and then the APS Bus Access tab.
  3. Create or re-create OAuth credentials. A consumer secret is displayed only once, so copy it and store securely.
  4. Under Allowed Operations, add the following items:
    • http://www.odin.com/app/azure-csp/tenant - GET
    • http://www.odin.com/billing/order-management - POST
    • http://www.odin.com/billing/order-management - GET
  5. Go to ServicesAzure Partner (NCE) > General tab > Edit, fill in the APS Bus Access OAuth Credentials, select the checkbox Automatically verify subscriptions on import and click Save.

To transfer accounts from Azure CSP 7.x to Azure NCE 1.x, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in as a reseller to the Reseller Panel and go to ServicesAzure Partner (NCE) > CSP Customers tab.
  2. To retrieve the latest data, click Synchronize and wait until the synchronization is completed. This may take a few hours, depending on the number of subscriptions.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to the accounts that you want to transfer to Azure NCE and click Transfer to NCE.
  4. Click the NCE Customers tab. Click Synchronize.
  5. Review the list of subscriptions, and for each subscription that shows (!) Set Up in the Billing Info column, click Set Up and specify the target account, service plan, and the cut-off date for switching the billing system to a newer resource usage method. Click Save.
  6. Select the checkboxes next to the accounts that you want to transfer to Azure NCE and click Import Selected.

Note: Alternatively, if you want to import numerous accounts at once, you can click Download accounts ready for import as CSV, save the file, fill in account information manually, and use the file with the bulk_import.py script, as described in Importing Multiple Azure Subscriptions at Once.
