Step 6. Install Cloud Infrastructure Automation APS Package on Management Node

To install Cloud Infrastructure Automation APS package on the MN, do the following:

  1. In Operations control panel, go to Infrastructure > Service Nodes.
  2. Click the hostname of the management node.
  3. Switch to the Packages tab and click Install Package.
  4. Find the paci_aps package in the list and click Install Package in the Actions column.
  5. Click Finish.

As a result, Cloud Infrastructure Automation package appears in Services > Applications, on the APS Packages tab.

About Cloud Infrastructure Automation APS Package

The Cloud Infrastructure Automation APS package adds functionality, allowing you to configure APS-based resource models:

  • CS Hosting – resource model allowing to create several virtual servers per subscription and bill a customer for actual resource usage.   • VPS Hosting – resource model allowing to create one server per subscription and bill a customer on a fixed price rate. For more information about configuring the VPS Hosting, refer to the Cloud Infrastructure Provider's Guide >> Configuring Virtual Private Server Resource Model (VPS Hosting).
