Supported Resource Models
The supported resource models in Cloud Infrastructure Automation are shown below.
The Cloud Infrastructure Automation supports three resource models:
- Cloud Infrastructure Hosting (CI Hosting). You can configure and sell cloud servers with customizable resource configuration. Customers will be able to select either a pre-defined server configuration or a custom server configuration allowing them to adjust resources as needed in the online store and customer control panel. Several cloud servers can be provisioned within one subscription. At the end of the month your customers are billed for actual resource usage. CI Hosting supports the Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) billing model.
- Cloud Server Hosting (CS Hosting). The CS Hosting model is a new representation of the CI Hosting model. The CS Hosting has the same business logic as CI Hosting but it is based on APS 2 technology and supports only UX1 for Customers.
- Virtual Private Server Hosting (VPS Hosting). You can configure and sell virtual private servers with pre-configured and customizable main resources (CPU, RAM, disk space) and customizable additional resources (backup space and IP addresses). Customers will be able to switch service plans on demand via the customer control panel. Only one VPS can be provisioned within one subscription. A fixed fee is paid monthly by a customer for the service, regardless of the resource usage. VPS Hosting supports the Flat-Fee billing model.
