VPS Hosting Default Configuration

The Cloud Infrastructure Automation provides you with the default VPS Hosting objects. You can just change prices for the VPS Hosting plans and start selling VPSs.

The VPS Hosting includes the following pre-configured items:

  • In Operations provider control panel:

    • VPS resource types, located in Products > Resources. They have VPS prefix in the name.
    • OS templates for virtual servers, located in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > OS Templates.
    • A sample virtual server template – Default Local Virtual Server Template, located in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > VPS Server Templates.
    • A sample UI policy – Default VPS UI Policy, located in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > UI Policies. Currently, the UI policy can be used only in the VPS Hosting resource model (in CCP v1).
    • Three sample backup schedules – monthly, weekly, daily, located in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Backup Schedules.
    • Four sample Plesk configurations – Plesk 12_5 for Linux, Plesk 12_5 for Windows, Plesk Onyx for Linux, Plesk Onyx for Windows, located in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Plesk in VPS > Plesk Configurations.
    • A sample service template – VPS Hosting, located in Products > Service Templates.
  • In Billing provider control panel:

    • Three sample service plans – Linux VPS - S, Linux VPS - M, Linux VPS - Flex, located in Products > Service Plans.
    • A sample purchase scenario – Virtual Private Server, located in Products > Online Store.

In Billing PCP, go to Products > Online Store and click Store URL link, you will be transferred to the online store. Then, go to Infrastructure > Virtual Private Server, three default service plans will be shown there. You are ready to sell virtual private servers. If the sample plans are not appropriate, you can prepare your own VPS Hosting plans for selling.
