Creating a Branding Configuration
A branding configuration is a set of branded Exchange service FQDNs that belong to a brand.
To create a branding configuration for a brand, perform the following actions:
- Go to Services > Applications and select the APS Connectors tab.
- Click on ExchangeApplication.
- Select the Instances tab and click on the application instance that you need.
- Select the Exchange tab.
- Select the Exchange Installations subtab and click on the Exchange installation that you need.
- In the Branding area, click Add.

Specify the following settings:
- Name: This defines a name for the branding configuration.
- IMAP Server : Port: This contains the FQDN and port of the IMAP4 access point configured for the brand (the specified FQDN and port are displayed in the customer control panel).
- POP3 Server : Port: This contains the FQDN and port of the POP3 access point configured for the brand (the specified FQDN and port are displayed in the customer control panel).
- Protocols Server: This contains the FQDN of the access point that is used for access through Outlook, Outlook Web Access, and ActiveSync.
- SMTP Server: This contains the FQDN of the SMTP relay access point that is used for inbound mail (the specified FQDN is used in MX records of Hosted Exchange organizations created under the brand).
- SMTP Auth Server : Port: This contains the FQDN and port of the SMTP authentication access point that is used by mail clients for sending mail to internal and external recipients (the specified FQDN and port are displayed in the customer control panel).
- Autodiscover DNS Record Value: This contains the FQDN of the Autodiscover access point configured for the brand.
- SPF DNS Record Value: This defines the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) TXT DNS record that is created for Hosted Exchange organizations created under the brand. Example: v=spf1 mx a
- Check the specified values and click Save.
