Creating 'Office 365 Add-on' Resource Types
Office 365 Add-on resource types represent Office 365 add-on offers. Only one Office 365 Add-on resource type must be created for every add-on type that you created earlier (see the Creating Add-on Types section for details).
Important: You must create only one Office 365 Add-on resource type of an add-on type per application instance. Do not create several Office 365 Add-on resource types for the same add-on type for the same application instance.
To create an Office 365 Add-on resource type, perform the following actions:
- In the Provider Control Panel, go to Services > Applications and select the APS Connectors tab.
- In the list of applications, select the Office 365 application.
- Select the Resource Types tab.
- Click Create.
- In the list of resource classes, select the Application Service Reference resource class.
-
Specify the following parameters:
- Name: The name of the resource type.
- Description: The description of the resource type. This parameter is optional.
Click Next.
- In the list of APS types, select the Add-on APS type.
- In the list of instances, select the required add-on type instance.
- Check the resource type parameters carefully and click Finish.
For example, create the following Office 365 Add-on resource types:
