Creating the 'Office 365 User' Resource Type

Office 365 User resource types represent Odin Automation users (or system users) that have the Office 365 service. Only one Office 365 User resource type must be created for an Office 365 application instance.

To create an Office 365 User resource type, perform the following actions:

1. In the Provider Control Panel, go to Services > Applications and select the APS Connectors tab.
2. In the list of applications, select the Office 365 application.
3. Select the Resource Types tab.
4. Click Create.
5. In the list of resource classes, select the Application Service resource class.

6. Specify the following parameters:

   • Name: The name of the resource type. For example: Office 365 User.
   • Description: The description of the resource type. This parameter is optional.

   Click Next.

7. In the list of services, select the User service.

8. Specify the following parameters:

   • Priority: Leave the default value.
   • Automatically provision service: Specify Off.

   Click Next.

9. Check the resource type parameters carefully and click Finish.
