Installing and Configuring the Office 365 Application

To install and configure the Office 365 application for Ingram Micro Syndication, complete these steps:

  1. Obtain the following data from your Ingram Micro representative:

    • The name of the Federated Credentials Provider application instance
    • The Transaction Mediator URL
    • The Federated Credentials Provider application endpoint URL
  2. Install and configure the Office 365 application in your Odin Automation system. Use the instructions in The Cloud Solution Provider Scenario, with a few exceptions:

    1. Skip the steps described in Preparing a CSP Account and Giving Consent and Acquiring a Refresh Token.
    2. When creating your Office 365 application instance (see Creating an Office 365 Application Instance), set Reseller Mode to Indirect CSP Reseller (through Ingram Micro).
    3. When creating your Office 365 application instance (see Creating an Office 365 Application Instance), specify the name of the Federated Credentials Provider application instance in Federated Credentials Provider Application Instance.
    4. When creating your Office 365 application instance (see Creating an Office 365 Application Instance), do not specify the Reseller tenant ID setting.

  3. Make sure your firewall allows access to the Transaction Mediator and the Federated Credentials Provider application endpoint from your Odin Automation system. See Firewall Requirements for details.
