Note: You must create the PBA resource type if you need integration between the application UI for CCP v1 and Billing. This integration enables customers to adjust limits on recurring licenses and upgrade these licenses in CCP v1 on the application screen at Microsoft 365 > Licenses. If you do not need this integration, skip this section.
Create the PBA resource type. This resource type is used to communicate with Billing.
To create this PBA resource type, follow these steps:
- In the Provider Control Panel, go to Services > Applications. Then, select the System Applications tab and click the pba application in the list of applications.
- Select the Resource Types tab and click Create.
- Select the Application Service Reference resource class in the list of resource classes.

Specify the following parameters:
- Name: The name of the resource type. For example: PBA.
- Description: (Optional) The description of the resource type.
- Click Next.
- Select the Parallels Business Automation PBA API APS type in the list of APS types.
- Select the required instance of the pba application in the list of instances.
- Check the resource type parameters carefully and click Finish.
