- Indirect CSP Providers sell services and products to end users through Indirect CSP Resellers only. Indirect CSP Resellers sell these services and products to end users directly. Indirect CSP Providers have access to the Partner Center API, which enables them to automate provisioning and billing tasks.
CloudBlue Commerce and the Microsoft 365 application support the following business scenarios:
-
A Direct CSP Provider provides Microsoft 365 services and products by using either the provider account or a reseller account. End users are registered as customer accounts under the account of the Direct CSP Provider.
-
An Indirect CSP Provider provides Microsoft 365 services and products by using either the provider account or a reseller account. Indirect CSP Resellers of the Indirect CSP Provider provide Microsoft 365 services and products by using reseller accounts. The reseller accounts are registered under the account of the Indirect CSP Provider. End users are registered as customer accounts under the reseller accounts of the Indirect CSP Resellers.
Use the instructions below to configure CloudBlue Commerce and the application for the business scenario that you need.
Important: The Customer Control Panel of reseller accounts is not for using Microsoft 365 services and products. It is solely intended for performing customer management operations, such as viewing reconciliation reports. If a reseller needs to use Microsoft 365 services and products with the ability to manage them through the Customer Control Panel, the reseller must create a separate customer account and subscribe it to the necessary Microsoft 365 service plans.
