Creating the 'Office 365 Domain' Resource Type

In the application, Office 365 Domain resource types represent Microsoft 365 domains of Microsoft 365 organizations. For your Microsoft 365 application instance, you must create an Office 365 Domain resource type.

Important: You must create only one Office 365 Domain resource type per application instance.

To create an Office 365 Domain resource type, perform the following actions:

  1. In the Provider Control Panel, go to Services > Applications and select the APS Connectors tab.
  2. In the list of applications, select the Microsoft 365 application.
  3. Select the Resource Types tab.
  4. Click Create.
  5. In the list of resource classes, select the Application Service resource class.
  6. Specify the following parameters:

    • Name: The name of this resource type. For example: Office 365 Domain.
    • Description: (Optional) The description of this resource type.

    Click Next.

  7. In the list of services, select the Domain service.
  8. Specify the following parameters:

    • Priority: Leave the default value.
    • Automatically provision service: Specify Off.

    Click Next.

  9. Check these resource type parameters carefully and click Finish.
