Nonprofit licenses are licenses intended for nonprofit organizations. To be able to subscribe to such licenses, nonprofit organizations must meet certain requirements, which can be viewed at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/nonprofits/eligibility.
The Microsoft 365 application processes subscriptions to nonprofit licenses in a special way: When a customer places an order to subscribe to a service plan that includes a nonprofit license, the application checks whether the customer tenant of the customer is eligible for this license. If so, the order is processed as usual. If not, the processing of the order is stopped so that no subscription is created on the Microsoft side. Such an order can be resubmitted for further processing as soon as the customer tenant of the customer becomes eligible.
To resubmit an order for a customer, follow these steps:
- In the Provider or Reseller Control Panel, go to Operations > Orders.
- Click the order.
- Click Resubmit For Provisioning.
