AWS Consolidated Connect 4.0 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the new features of AWS Consolidated 4.0.

New Features

AWS Consolidated 4.0 introduces the following new feature:

  • COAD-4101. The connector now supports the End Customer Account Model (ECAM) for accounts located under a certain consolidated payer. Providers can now select the default account model for their customers, by using the following Marketplace Configuration parameter: awsAccountModel. Additionally, a new activation template will be available for ECAM orders to provide information on how to access the root user (parameters newECAMActivationTemplateId and provideRootUserForECAM). For additional information, refer to the Distributor Configuration Guide.

  • COAD-4097. Support for multiple AWS payer accounts per marketplace, which allows providers to define their business model (single or multiple payer accounts), configure credentials and other marketplace settings on a payer account level and allocate customers to different payers. For additional information on this new capability, refer to the Channel Operations Guide.

Enhancements

  • COAD-4159. Enhancements have been made to the allocation of discounts.

Fixed Issues

  • CANRFS-291. An issue was fixed where the account was not moved to the OU specified in the TCR parameters.

  • CANRFS-303: An issue was fixed in the dynamic validations in imports and transfers, where credentials were always obtained from the configuration parameters without considering the values provided in the TCR.
