Prerequisites

• To activate the CloudBlue Commerce extension for CloudBlue Connect, a Kubernetes cluster must be configured in the infrastructure of CloudBlue Commerce. Refer to the CloudBlue Connect documentation for further details.
• The CloudBlue Commerce Extension for CloudBlue Connect consists of the three major software components that must be installed on the Kubernetes cluster mentioned previously: Adapter Package, Extension Package and Product Package. If the CloudBlue Commerce Extension for CloudBlue Connect is not installed on your platform, please refer to the CloudBlue Connect documentation for further information on how to install it.
• In CloudBlue Commerce 8.4 and earlier versions, it is necessary to install an APS application called "Abstract Types". For more information, refer to the CloudBlue Connect documentation.
• An outbound and inbound proxy must be configured in CloudBlue Commerce in order to allow network connectivity between CloudBlue Connect and CloudBlue Commerce. For more information, consult the CloudBlue Connect documentation.
• If a Firewall is used, it also needs to be configured. For more information, refer to the CloudBlue Connect documentation.
