Adobe Connect 10.8.1 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the new features, enhancements and fixed issues in Adobe Connect v10.8.1:

New Features

  • CAD-2115. The connector now supports retrieving Adobe flexible discounts through a custom event.

Enhancements

  • COAD-4851. The validation step for the ordering parameter cb_align_expiration_date has been removed. This parameter was previously checked during the purchase process, but it has been removed, since the PLM component already handles expiration date alignment when the customer explicitly selects a custom date in the checkout screen. This change streamlines the purchasing experience for Adobe Extended Terms by eliminating unnecessary validation, reducing friction, and ensuring that customer-selected dates are respected and processed correctly.

Fixed Issues

  • CAD-2124. Resolved an issue where disabling auto-renewal in CloudBlue Commerce did not correctly update the auto-renewal status in Adobe. Previously, the status remained marked as "Enabled" in some cases, despite the change.

  • CAD-2127. We have resolved an issue where the Adobe renew purchase request process failed when the auto-renewal status differed across individual line items. This issue has been resolved by ensuring that the auto-renewal status is synchronized across all line items during the renewal process.

  • CAD-2134. We resolved an issue in the renewal preview where item quantities were incorrectly included in requests. These quantities are not permitted by Adobe, so they are now excluded when items are passed.

  • SUPSCIT-4430. An issue was resolved, where attempts to re-enable an existing Adobe customer subscription resulted in the system incorrectly initiating the creation of a new Adobe account. The connector now avoids unnecessary account creation and ensures that the PR progresses to completion as expected.

  • SUPSCIT-4409. We have resolved an issue where return order requests for Adobe subscriptions were failing because the order return had not yet been completed on Adobe side. To solve this, an additional verification step has been added to check if the order return has been sent to Adobe. Then, the order is scheduled until a 1008 status is received from Adobe to continue with the flow.

  • SUPSCIT-4437. We have fixed an issue where a scheduled change request for an Adobe subscription was incorrectly rejected with the message: “Scheduled changes only available for adding new items between 30 and 3 days prior to anniversary date.” The validation mechanism has been updated to accurately assess the timing of scheduled change requests.
