Adobe Connect 11.6.0 Release Notes
Introduction
This document describes the new features and fixed issues in Adobe Connect v11.6.0:
New Features
-
CAD-2300. We have improved the synchronization between CloudBlue Commerce and Adobe to ensure your Auto-Renew preferences remain intact during mid-term adjustments. Previously, placing a Change Order for additional licenses could inadvertently trigger Adobe to re-enable Auto-Renew or leave the status inconsistent.
-
CAD-2302. The connector has been updated to populate key information for late renewals when approving a renewal request. Now, when a subscription is re-enabled, the new subscription expiration date is updated with new Subscription Expiration Date (previous Subscription Expiration Date + 1 Year) and aligned with new Adobe’s Customer Anniversary Date. The effective date is date of creation of the corresponding Renewal Order on Adobe side (known as Late Renewal).
-
CAD-2306. The bi-daily Adobe Connect Assets synchronization task has been enhanced to automatically discover and capture Adobe Flexible Discounts applied during the renewal window. By querying Adobe’s renewal order data on the anniversary date, the connector now populates the
cb_flex_discount_finalparameter alongside existing updates for renewal dates, discount groups, and 3YC status. This ensures that any discounts applied directly by Adobe are accurately reflected within the vendor adjustment requests. This feature is available for Connect-only customers. -
CAD-2307 The connector now ensures that applied discount codes persist through additional orders and scheduled quantity updates, though it will discard and re-evaluate codes if a product mix change occurs.
Fixed Issues
-
CAD-2299. Fixed a bug where Adobe purchase requests could become stuck in a "Pending" state without an associated DevOps task. This occurred when the connector incorrectly assumed a request was approved, leading to a breakdown in the automation flow.
-
CAD-2304. Resolved an issue where Adobe renewal orders failed with a "Manual renewable subscriptions are not available" error, even when auto-renewal was correctly enabled for all asset items. This fix ensures that renewal purchase requests are processed and approved successfully.
-
CAD-2309. Fixed an issue where Adobe reseller change transfers via Seamless Move would fail with an incorrect "bad filter query" or "access rejected" error.
-
CAD-2315. Fixed an issue that prevented users from adding resources to an existing Extended Terms subscription due to a validation error regarding the Adobe CotermDate. The system now allows license additions to proceed without being blocked by existing date values, ensuring seamless scaling of active subscriptions.
