Adobe Connect 12.3.0 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the fixed issues in Adobe Connect v12.3.0:

New Features and Enhancements

  • CBPFR-1587. In line with Adobe's new partial returns capability, partners can now return part of an eligible line item's quantity on new and renewal orders within Adobe's return window. Before, they had to return the whole line item and place a new order for the right quantity. Partners can submit more than one partial return against the same line item, up to the quantity still available for return. Partial returns are not supported for Switch Plan orders, Stock Credit Packs, Acrobat license packs, Minimum Order Quantity offers, or consumables such as Sign transactions. Licenses for the returned quantity are removed as soon as the return is completed. For additional information see Partial Returns for New and Renewal Orders.

  • CBPFR-2565. Adobe error messages shown while orders are being validated now appear in the language set for the marketplace, instead of always appearing in US English.

  • CBPFR-2567. The Adobe Reseller and End Customer consoles now support localization, so screens and Adobe error messages appear in the language set for the marketplace instead of US English only.

  • CAD-2648. The Adobe connector has been upgraded to Python 3.12.

Fixed Issues

  • CAD-2622. We resolved an issue that occurred when a partner asked to return a renewal order and an early renewal was still inside the return window. If the early renewal covered only part of the asset, or was split into several orders, the return failed and no renewal could be returned. If the early renewal covered the whole asset, the return was placed against the early renewal instead of Adobe's automatic renewal.

  • CAD-2623. We fixed an issue where purchase requests could keep rescheduling while the connector looked up the Adobe customer, if Adobe reported that the customer's account address was invalid.

  • CAD-2627. Some change requests that added a new SKU were rejected with the message "The following items are provisioned under an Adobe deployment and cannot be modified within CloudBlue". This happened when the customer already had a subscription in Adobe for the same SKU that was linked to an Adobe deployment but was inactive or canceled. These requests are now processed as expected, and the new SKU is ordered as a regular subscription that is not linked to a deployment. Change requests for SKUs that have active deployment subscriptions are still blocked, as before.

  • CAD-2641. Some Adobe VIP Marketplace requests failed with the unexpected error "Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)". This happened when Adobe's service was temporarily unavailable and the connector didn't correctly handle the response it got back. This issue has been resolved.

  • CAD-2642. Some Adobe renewal requests kept rescheduling instead of completing. This happened when auto-renewal was not enabled, when the subscriptions in Adobe did not match the asset items, when the renewal status was inactive, or when the subscription was a Term License. It also happened when Adobe reported that the product was not eligible for the order type or that the change would create an invalid renewal order. This issue has been resolved.

  • CAD-2645. When a reseller picked a closed flex discount code in a scheduled change, the request was saved without the discount ID while it waited for the renewal date. As a result, the request had no discount ID. The discount ID is now filled in once Adobe provides it during the renewal preview.

  • CAD-2647. Previously, after you searched for a SKU in the Adobe Renewal Management console, you couldn't get back to the full list of subscription SKUs, even after you cleared the search field. This issue has been fixed. When you clear your search, the console now shows the complete list of SKUs again.
