Adobe VIP Marketplace API Reason Status Codes
The Adobe API returns reason status codes to Control Panel Vendors (CPVs) and Direct Billed Provider Partners, which Support or Operations teams may encounter in event logging. Reason status codes may communicate a successful outcome or an error condition. In the following table you can find the reason status codes returned by Adobe.

Note: This is a catch-all code for the following scope of reasons. If Adobe has a more granular code that better describes the situation, it may be offered instead. The reseller or customer account is inactive, the order failed or the subscription transfer has failed. |

2129 INELIGIBLE_SWITCH |
The order includes Connect items (“Adobe Products” / SKUs) that are incompatible with each other or with a product that the Adobe customer already has. Try removing the incompatible line item and placing the order again. |

2129 INELIGIBLE_ADD_ON |
The Adobe customer is attempting to place an order for an add-on Connect item (“Adobe Product” / SKU) without a dependent base Connect item. Try placing the order again after adding a dependent base Connect item into the shopping cart. |

2129 INELIGIBLE_CONSUMED |
Applicable only to Adobe return order requests, the Adobe customer is attempting to return a Consumable product that has already been consumed. There is no self-serve recovery for this condition as it is a violation of Adobe business policy. |
