Adobe-issued distributor accounts are eligible to operate on a single or multiple regions/countries.
Adobe distributors are limited to operating with one single currency. An Adobe distributor account is tied to a single Billing Entity and cannot accommodate multiple sellers or records. Adobe will issue invoices in the currency setup and to the indicated single billing entity.
Adobe issues one summary invoice per distributor once a month containing all the transactions performed by customers under that account.
Adobe only supports the following currencies in VIP Marketplace:
- US Dollar (USD)
- Euro (EUR)
- Australian Dollar (AUD)
- British Pound Sterling GBP
- Japanese Yen (JPY)
Adobe Distributor accounts support one or many reseller accounts underneath.

Each reseller account can have one or many end-customer accounts.
Services are only attached to end-customer accounts.
An Adobe reseller account in Adobe VIP Marketplace is just a representation of the tiered distribution model and it loses  the capability to access the Adobe reseller console for licensing procurement, assignment, and management. This is where the value of CloudBlue comes into play, by allowing indirect 2-tier Adobe resellers to self-serve orders and manage Adobe VIP Marketplace offers.
Adobe VIP Marketplace has the capability to provision reseller accounts programmatically and CloudBlue uses this capability to create the Adobe reseller account without the need of any additional steps.
The Adobe registration process for partners in VIP Marketplace consists of reading and accepting the Reseller Pass-through Terms.
Adobe reseller accounts do not hold any information related to billing or anniversary dates.
Adobe reseller accounts can neither be transferred to other Adobe distributor accounts nor operate at the same time under two different Adobe distributors. An Adobe indirect 2-tier reseller desiring to work with several Adobe Direct-Billed Distributors will need to register a separate account for each distributor.

Adobe end-customer accounts are provisioned programmatically in Adobe VIP Marketplace.
Adobe end-customer accounts can have none, one, or multiple Adobe subscriptions.
An active Adobe VIP marketplace subscription is the representation of a purchased Adobe product and it will always have at least one license.
Adobe subscriptions in VIP Marketplace also hold information about the auto-renewal option (always enabled by default on Adobe VIP Marketplace) as well as the renewal quantity. It also indicates the creation date and the status.
