Azure RI CONNECT 2.4 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the new features, enhancements of Azure RI CONNECT v2.4

The connector now supports the new Microsoft policy with respect to margins for Azure RI applicable from January 2023. Partners will continue to receive incentive, but will no longer receive margin pricing from January 2023. This change only affects new reservation purchases, while reservations purchased prior to January 2023 will have the margin honored through the balance of the term. A rating attribute must be configured in CloudBlue Commerce to support this. Please refer to the CloudBlue Commerce Configuration Guide for more details.

The format of the record_note column in the usage file has been updated as follows:
- The date format will be the following: "from YYYY-MM-DD through YYYY-MM-DD".
- The consumed service has been replaced with the Connect product name.
  
  Example: "# {reservation_order_id} {product_name} - YYYY-MM-DD through YYYY-MM-DD"
