Dropbox Connect 2.5 Release Notes
Introduction
This document describes the new features, fixed issues and known limitations of Dropbox CONNECT 2.5. No information about enhancements is available for this release.
New Features
Dropbox CONNECT 2.5 introduces the following new feature(s):
-
Import of existing Dropbox teams: If the Admin email provided during the ordering process is already in use for an existing team on the Dropbox side, the end-user has the capability to import the already existing Dropbox team by setting the
import_enabled
parameter to "On". The Dropbox Team ID is required to verify the ownership of the team; SKUs and seats ordered are also validated to ensure that there is no mismatch. In case there are some changes scheduled for the time of renewal, the Connect processor will keep the request pending until the renewal date as long as the SKUs and quantity ordered are the same as the ones scheduled. The order will then be completed upon renewal.
Enhancements
Not applicable to this release.
Fixed Issues
-
Previously when the Dropbox service was unavailable (resulting in a 500 error being returned), the order would automatically fail. Instead of returning a failed order, the Connect Processor would now retry sending the order until the Dropbox service becomes available and a connection is successfully established.
Known Limitations
-
The dynamic validation for Reseller credentials is not supported.
-
The log-in action button functionality is not supported in the direct sales model.
