NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT 28.0 Release Notes

Introduction

This document describes the new features, enhancements, fixed issues and known limitations of NCE Microsoft 365 and Software - CONNECT v28.0:

New Features

  • Credentials and the refresh tokens are now managed through the Microsoft Management extension, which allows you to easily manage all the credentials from a single location. Credentials currently configured in configuration parameters with marketplace scope will be automatically migrated to the Microsoft Management extension as long as such extension is installed in the Connect Distributor portal.

Call to Action: Direct Billed Partners (1T and 2T models) must ensure that the Microsoft Management extension is installed in the Connect Distributor portal. Otherwise, your credentials will not be automatically migrated to the extension and your customers will experience a disruption in the fulfillment of orders.

    For additional information, refer to:
    - Microsoft Management Settings documentation
    - Announcement in the Partner Enablement Communities

  • Overage management is now supported. For additional information, refer to the Managing Overage section.

Enhancements

  • Change orders will now be failed when the customer Id or the subscription Id parameters are empty or invalid.

  • Purchase requests will now be failed when a unique fulfillment parameter in Connect is updated with an existing value.

  • Requests that remain in pending status due to a credentials error for more than four days will be failed.

  • Promotions that are not auto-applicable will neither be displayed nor applied in the purchase order process, as certain promotion requirements need to be fulfilled and verified.

Fixed Issues

  • An issue was fixed where a task was rescheduled when trying to set the SOE qualification for a customer qualified as nonprofit.

  • We fixed an issue which prevented the SCHEDULE_ERROR_CREDENTIALS environment variable to work as expected.

  • We fixed an issue in the way the CPV model was handled when obtaining credentials.
