AWS Discount Manager

The AWS Discount and Credit Manager allows you to configure the discount percentage to be applied to the end-customers and/or the resellers for the applicable services. The AWS discount manager allows you to perform the following actions:

• Define a discount for all the customers or resellers.

• Define a customized discount for all the customers of a given reseller.

• Define a customized discount for a single customer account or reseller.

• Define a customized discount for a given service.

• Define customized discounts with a combination of reseller and services.

• Define customized discounts with any combination of customer and services.

• Define inclusion or exclusion lists for any entity (reseller, customer or service).

• Work with resellers or customers simultaneously (Tier-2 and Tier-1).

• Export and import stored discount rules to perform any modification offline.

• View the list of discounts to be applied to the raw AWS unblended cost.

• Configure discount rules with a PPA/EDP/SPP automated service selection.

  Note: The EDP/PPA automated service selection is only available for AWS Standalone.

• Configure PPA/EDP/SPP refund split rules.

  Note: The PPA/EDP refund split rules are only available for AWS Standalone.

• Use a Discount Advisor to help you plan the discounts for resellers and customers.

The AWS usage processor will call the endpoint exposed by the AWS Discount and Credit Management Connect extension for each account when generating the usage to apply the corresponding discounts.
