Accessing the AWS Discount and Credit Manager

AWS Discount and Credit Manager in the CloudBlue Commerce UX1 Control Panel

To be able to access the AWS Discount and Credit Manager in UX1, it will be necessary to purchase the AWS Discount and Credit Management service plan. L2 resellers can purchase the service plan themselves once it is published in UX1. Alternatively, L1 resellers can also purchase the service plan on behalf of L2 resellers.

Once the APS has been deployed and the service plan has been purchased, resellers will be able to use the AWS Discount and Credit Management option in the left menu of the UX1 control panel:

1. Log in to your control panel as an Opco or reseller.

2. Click AWS Discount and Credit Management in the left menu.

3. Click the Configure Marketplace tab.

4. Select the AWS product, and the environment where you wish to configure the discounts. To do this, select the product, and the environment in the corresponding fields and click Select.

5. Go to the corresponding tab to manage Discounts or Credits.

Note:
- When accessing AWS Discount and Credit Manager from the UX1 control panel, you will be able to see and work with data according to the authorization for the account that you authenticated with.
- If this option is not available in the control panel, reach out to your TAM/CSM to have it enabled in your account.
- To operate as a distributor, it is necessary to access CloudBlue Commerce at Tier-2 level (two levels above the customer). For example: L2 Opco > L1 Opco/Reseller > Customer.

AWS Discount and Credit Manager in the Connect Distributor Portal

Once the AWS Discount and Credit Management extension has been installed in the Connect Distributor Portal, providers will be able to find it by completing these steps:

1. Go to the Settings menu at the top.

2. In the left menu, under Extensions, click AWS Discount and Credit Management.

3. Click the Configure Marketplace tab.

4. Select the AWS product, the marketplace, and the environment where you wish to configure the discounts. To do this, select the Connect product, the marketplace and the environment in the corresponding fields and click Select.
