How To Use NCE Renewal Risk Dashboard

The NCE Renewal Risk dashboard allows you to identify "at-risk" active Microsoft NCE subscriptions and schedule their transition to an Extended Service Term (EST) plan. This tool provides visibility into commitment end dates and eligibility status, helping you manage renewals proactively.

Important: Ensure all prerequisites are met before using this extension.

Prerequisites

To access the dashboard in the UX1 panel, ensure you have successfully installed the Microsoft EST Renewal Management extension and the required APS package as detailed in the corresponding sections of this guide.

To use the dashboard, complete the following steps.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to the UX1 Reseller Control Panel. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on NCE Renewal Risk (located under the NCE Renewal section).

   

2. Use the search bar and dropdown filters to locate specific subscriptions. You can filter by:

   • Search: Name, Customer, Subscription ID, or Plan Name.

   • Status: e.g., Active, Pending EST.

   • Eligibility: EST Eligible, Not Eligible, or In EST.

3. Identify a subscription with the EST Eligible status that you wish to transition. Click the Move to EST button in the Action column.

4. A Confirm EST Transition summary will appear. Review the following details carefully:

   • Target EST Plan: The specific plan the subscription will move to.

   • Scheduled Date: The date the transition will occur (typically aligned with the Commitment End date).

   • Pricing Impact: Review the automated notification regarding price increases.

   

   Clicking Confirm Transition places a scheduled change order In CloudBlue Commerce.

    

   Important:
   - Standard EST subscriptions incur a 3% price increase over the current monthly term rate. In cases where no corresponding monthly plan exists, a 23% exception uplift may apply.
   - The transition to EST is a scheduled system process. Once confirmed and processed, it cannot be easily reversed.
   - Once a transition is scheduled, the subscription status will update to Pending EST until the commitment end date is reached.

5. Once you have verified the details, click Confirm Transition.

Quick Reference: Eligibility Statuses

Status	Meaning
EST Eligible	The subscription is active and meets the criteria to be moved to an EST plan.
Not Eligible	The subscription cannot be moved (e.g., it is an annual plan or already has a pending action).
In EST	The subscription has already successfully transitioned to an Extended Service Term.
Pending EST	A transition has been scheduled but has not yet reached the execution date.

Note: "Cancel," "Return to Base," and "Revoke Pending Order" are handled natively by Commerce UI/orders and are intentionally excluded from the extension UI.
