Activating Tenant Synchronization for a Customer Tenant

By default, the component synchronizes tenant data from the Microsoft cloud for all customer tenants that belong to your Microsoft partner account. If you need to deactivate this synchronization for a specific customer tenant, complete these steps:

Note:
- The activation or deactivation of data synchronization is only available in UX1 for resellers. Customers can only refresh their own data by clicking the Refresh button.

  1. Log in to your CloudBlue Commerce reseller or provider account.

  2. In the left menu, select Microsoft Online Management.

  3. Click on one of the customer tenants in the list.

  4. Click Deactivate Tenant Synchronization and confirm the operation.

Note: A tenant synchronization will also take place whenever an action is performed in MOME which alters data in Microsoft. For example, when a user is created or disabled, or when a secure score action is updated, the tenant synchronization will take place. Additionally, a periodic task is available in CloudBlue Commerce named "Tenant Weekly Synchronization", which synchronizes all the active tenant resources on a weekly basis.

As a result, the tenant data of that customer tenant, such as its licenses and cloud users, will not be synchronized from the Microsoft cloud to the component.

Notes:
- You can activate tenant synchronization for a customer tenant by clicking Activate Tenant Synchronization in step 4.
