GDAP Detail

GDAP is the new delegation technology introduced by Microsoft which has replaced DAP.

More details on GDAP are available in the Microsoft Partner Center Documentation.

End-customers are required to grant the reseller or provider the following GDAP roles:

  • Application administrator or Cloud Application administrator.

  • User administrator

  • Domain name administrator

  • Security operator

The reseller needs to send the GDAP request for these roles to the customer. Once the customer accepts the GDAP request, the Security Group needs to be added to the admin relationship by following the steps provided in the Microsoft documentation.

Important: Once the steps above have been completed, it is necessary to update the information in MOME, by clicking the Refresh button.

Once the refresh has been completed, the status may be Success or Failed. When the status is Failed, it may be due to different reasons, for example, because a GDAP-related issue was found. In that case, the status will be the following: Failed: No GDAP. You can click See details to obtain more information on the root cause.

You can click Last refresh status to filter by the different statuses available: No GDAP, Other issue, success, etc.
