Authenticating in Zapier

For CloudBlue Commerce integrations, the Zapier CloudBlue Commerce app requires relevant authentication (OAuth) credentials (that is Customer Key and the one-time Customer Secret number) of the platform user to establish the connection with Zapier. These credentials are obtained from the CloudBlue Commerce portal.

Before generating the OAuth credentials for a user, the Service Provider must create a user (example. contact@zapier.com) in CloudBlue Commerce from the portal's provider panel.

To generate authentication credentials for the user, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the CloudBlue Commerce portal with the new user credentials.
  2. On the Dashboard, click Classic Panel.
  3. In the left pane, under Systems, click Users.
  4. On the Users page, in the list of users, click the user for whom you want to create OAuth credentials.
  5. On the user details page, click the APS BUS Access tab.
  6. Click Create to generate the Consumer Key and the one-time Consumer Secret number. These credentials are used to establish the connection with the CloudBlue Commerce Zap app.

NOTE: Copy and save the Consumer Secret number in your local system as it is generated only once. It is not visible after you leave the screen.
