Testing and Integration
Zapier offers you the option to test your integration after you have completed building Zaps for the forward and return flow. To test a Zap in an integration, click TEST & REVIEW or TEST & CONTINUE. It tests the integration and generates an output to determinewhether the integration is successful or it has any errors.
You can also test the integration while creating a new Zap.
When a test run is performed, the following activities occur:
- For triggers, data captured from the source app is displayed in Zapier.
- For actions, data is sent to CloudBlue Commerce to test the integration.
Turn on a Zap
As previously explained, Zaps are configured to run automated workflows to integrate platforms based on your business needs. However, after you create a Zap, you must turn it on manually in Zapier.
To turn on the Zap, complete the following steps:
- Log in to your Zapier account.
- In the left pane, click Zaps.
- In the list of Zaps, use the toggle button to turn on or turn off a Zap.
NOTE: You can also turn on the Zap from the Zap configuration page after you have completed building the Zap with the required triggers, actions, paths and others. Zapier checks for new data from the source app at a regular interval based on your subscription plan.
Zapier consists of built-in methods and configuration to ensure that the Zap you have created does not run multiple times for a single new or updated item.
