Configuring Switch Parameters

To configure switch parameters:

1. Open Products > Service Plans. Click the necessary service plan in the list.
2. Switch to the Upgrades tab. The currently allowed upgrade/downgrade options are listed on the screen.
3. Click the necessary upgrade option (service plan) in the list. Click Edit. Fill out the form:
   • Make sure the fields From Plan and To Plan are completed the way you need.

   • Set the field Subscription Period Starts as follows:

      Note: This setting is effective only for the UX1 control panel.

     • If you want the beginning date of target subscriptions to equal the beginning date of original subscriptions, select From the Start Date of Current Subscription.
     • If you want the beginning date of target subscriptions to be the actual upgrade date, select From the Date of Upgrade (default).
   • Type fee for plan switch into the Switch Plan Fee field.
   • Type free-form description of switch charges into the Description of Switch Plan Fee field.
   • Select the Include If Zero check box to make switch plan fee description shown in order even if prices are zero. By default, zero prices are not displayed.
4. Click Save to confirm changes.

Note: The following scenarios of switching service plans are forbidden:

1. Switching from a service plan with the Charge Before Billing Period (or Charge Before Subscription Period) model to an Charge After Billing Period plan.
2. Switching from a service plan with the Charge After Billing Period model to a Charge Before Billing Period (or Charge Before Subscription Period) plan.
