Services and Components on Windows-based Hosting Service Nodes

Control panel software for managing hosting servers. It is integrated with Odin Automation.

To manage the services controlled by Plesk, go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Services Management.

Web server.

To manage IIS web server settings on Windows-based hosting nodes, use the native IIS Manager application on the Windows server.

You can also manage IIS application pool in Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > IIS Application Pool and web server settings for selected sites in Customer Panel > Websites & Domains > IIS Web Server Settings.

Mail server.

To configure the global settings of the mail services, go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Mail Server Settings.

Webmail.

To manage webmail, go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Webmail.

Spam filter. It is installed and switched on by default.

To manage the settings of the SpamAssassin spam filter, go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Webmail.

In addition to SpamAssassin, there are also spam preventions tools based on DomainKeys, DNS blackhole lists, and Sender Policy Framework (SPF). You can configure these tools in Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Mail Server Settings.

Provides protection against a wide range of attacks directed at web applications.

It is installed but is switched off by default.
