Organizing In-Panel Marketplace
For better representation of your services and solutions to customers, you can group sales categories into a multi-level hierarchy. This will allow customers to browse your offerings in the Customer Control Panel version 2 (UX1 for Customers) in a more convenient way:
- Your customers see upper-level (or main, or parent, or root) sales categories on the home page.
- By clicking an upper-level sales category, your customers go to lower-level (or child) sales categories.
- When your customers click one of the lowest-level sales categories in the hierarchy, they see a list of service plans included in this sales category.
To build a hierarchy of sales categories:
- Create several root sales categories in one of the following two ways:
- Convert an existing category into a root category: Click an existing category on the Sales Categories screen. Press Edit. Make sure the Parent Category field is empty. Save the changes.
- Create a sales category as a root category (with the Parent Category field empty).

Create several sub-categories in one of the following two ways:
Note: Sales categories can include either service plans or other categories but not the both at the same time.
- Click a sales category that you want to include as a sub-category into one of the main categories. Press Move Category. Select the necessary upper-level category. Save the changes.
- Create a sales category as a sub-category (complete the Parent Category field by selecting an upper-level sales category).

Create a multi-level hierarchy by repeating the steps above.

Define in which order sub-categories will appear within their parent category: Sort them using the Set Order button in the sales categories list.
Alternatively, you can complete the Position in Parent Category field when editing a sub-category.
Note: Sales categories with an empty Position in Parent Category field will be displayed to customers at the end of the list.
Sales categories are displayed to customers in UX1 for Customers under these conditions:
- For each necessary sales category, the option Display Category in Customer Control Panel is enabled.
- In each lowest-level sales category, there is at least one service plan that is available for customers to buy.
