Step 5. Setting Up Instance Manager and its Database

After installation of the Cloud Infrastructure Automation APS package, if the screen in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Infrastructure is empty, re-login to the system should be done.

The Instance Manager (IM) is the control center for all operations related to the Cloud Infrastructure Automation module. It is the core component of the Cloud Infrastructure Automation module that orchestrates communications between Odin Automation and virtualization nodes. The IM and IM DB should be deployed on two hardware nodes: IM node and IM DB node.
