Configuring Vendor Outlook Licenses for Mailboxes

You can provide your customers with Microsoft Outlook activation keys and download URLs so that they will be able to download, install, and activate Microsoft Outlook by using the download URLs and activation keys shown in their control panel.

Note: Microsoft Outlook activation keys and download URLs can be configured only for mailboxes that are created based on mailbox types. For information about mailbox types, see Preparing Mailbox Types.

To configure this ability, perform the following steps:

1. Prepare the necessary Microsoft Outlook activation keys and download URLs.
2. In the mailbox templates of the mailbox types that you need, set Vendor's Outlook license to Enabled.
3. Synchronize the mailbox types with their mailbox templates.
4. Go to Services > Applications and select the APS Connectors tab.
5. Click on ExchangeApplication.
6. Click on the application instance that you need.
7. Select the Exchange tab. Then, select the Outlook Licenses subtab.

8. For the mailbox types that you need, specify the Microsoft Outlook activation keys and download URLs that you prepared:

   1. Click on a mailbox type.
   2. Specify Outlook License Activation Key and Outlook Download URL.
   3. Click Save.
