Creating the 'Office 365 Customer Management' Service Plan

If you are going to use reseller accounts for selling the Office 365 resources of your application instance, you must create an auxiliary service plan named Office 365 Customer Management and subscribe these reseller accounts to this service plan.

Notes:

1. To learn more about configuring reseller accounts for selling Office 365 resources, see Configuring Resellers.

2. Only one Office 365 Customer Management service plan must be created per application instance.

To create this service plan, follow these steps:

  1. Create a service plan based on an Office 365 service template that contains Office 365 resources of your application instance.
  2. Add one subscription period to this service plan and specify zero prices for setup and recurring fees.
  3. Do not add resource rates to this service plan.

When subscribing a reseller account to the Office 365 Customer Management service plan, you will need to fill out the Office 365 subdomain form. In the form, select Sign up for a new Microsoft account and specify any available subdomain. After subscribing the reseller account to the service plan, no actual provisioning will occur in the Microsoft cloud.
