Upgrading a Subscription

Subscriptions are upgraded to apply changes to existing resources and resource limits while ensuring service continuity for customers (see also Editing Resources and Limits for Service Template). Changes may be applied to all subscriptions based on this service template or to a specific subscription. The latter means that changes to the service template are saved but applied to each required subscription individually.

There are two ways to upgrade the subscription:

  • using Billing (Billing is installed);
  • using Operations directly (see instructions below).

Without Billing installed, perform the following steps to upgrade a subscription:

  1. Open Subscriptions window.
  2. Click a subscription's name in the list.
  3. Open General tab and click Upgrade. After a successful upgrade, a confirmation message will appear.
