Editing Resource Mailbox Properties

You can change the parameters of the already created resource mailboxes.

  1. Go to Exchange > More Services > Resource Mailboxes. The list of existing resource mailboxes opens.
  2. Click on the name of the resource mailbox, which properties you wish to configure. The mailbox General tab opens.
  3. Click Edit. At this screen change the parameters of the mailbox properties.
    • Alias. Enter here a unique name for mailbox you find convenient and cognate.
    • In the Display name field, type the name of the of the resource mailbox as it will be displayed in CloudBlue Commerce.
    • Show in address book. Make the mailbox visible in Microsoft OAB or in OWA address book by selecting this check box.
    • In the Resource location filed, type the place the created resource is disposed.
    • Resource capacity. Use this field to specify the capacity of the resource. For example, for a room mailbox, you can specify the number of people the room can accommodate.
    • Process meeting request. Select the way meeting requests will be processed.
    • Use the Automatic parameter to enable calendar processing on the mailbox.
    • Use the Forward to delegates parameter to specify whether to forward incoming meeting requests to the delegates defined for the mailbox. On selecting this option a new tab Resource Delegates appears. On this tab you can assign delegates for this resource mailbox.

      Use Manual parameter to allow requests processing only by users with "Full Mailbox Access" or "Send As" permissions on the mailbox.

    • Process external appointment request. Use this parameter to specify whether to process meeting requests originating outside the Exchange organization.
  4. Click Submit to save the new settings.
