Re-enabling APS Booster
If APS booster was deactivated on a web server, you can re-enable it.
Before using the instructions from this section, make sure that APS booster is not operating on your UI cluster, or find the web server, on which the APS booster has been deactivated. Refer to the Checking If APS Booster is Operational section for the instructions.
Re-enabling APS Booster on a UI cluster
To re-enable APS Booster on a particular web server, do the following:
- Log in to CloudBlue Commerce PCP.
- Go to Infrastructure > Service Nodes and switch to the Web Clusters tab.
- Click on the UI cluster's name.

In the Web Servers section, locate the web server for which you wish to re-enable APS Booster and click Disconnect from DBR Host.
CloudBlue Commerce will schedule a task to disconnect the database replica host. Wait for that tasks to complete before going further.
- Go to Infrastructure > Service Nodes.
- Locate the database replica node that you have just disconnected from the web server and click its hostname.

Switch to the packages tab and uninstall the oss-db-replication-slave package, by clicking the respective icon in the Actions column.
Wait for the package to uninstall.
- Reinstall the package, by following the instructions from the Configuring Database Replica Node section.
- Re-connect the replica node to the web server using the instructions from the Connecting Web Servers to Database Replica Node section.
- When done, the APS Booster will automatically enable on the web server.
Re-enabling APS Booster on a standalone UI node
To re-enable APS Booster on a standalone UI node, do the following:
- Log in to CloudBlue Commerce PCP.
- Go to Infrastructure > Service Nodes and click on the UI node hostname.
- Switch to the Packages tab.
- Find the systemdb-slave-client package and click on the Deinstall icon in the Actions column. Confirm the action.
- Wait for the package to uninstall.
- After that, install the package again, following the instructions from the Connecting UI Nodes to Database Replica Nodes section.
