Managing Loyalty Programs

Note: Loyalty Program functionality is available in UX1 for Providers and UX1 for Resellers only when the Loyalty Program microservice is installed and enabled.

To manage customer loyalty programs:

• Step 1. Create loyalty programs.
• Step 2. On-board customers to loyalty programs.
• Step 3. Add bonus certificates for customers.

You can also cancel loyalty certificates and off-board customers from loyalty programs (an intuitive procedure obvious in the UI).

Step 1. Create a Customer Loyalty Program

To create a customer loyalty program:

1. Go to UX1 for Providers or UX1 for Resellers > Loyalty Program > PROGRAMS tab.
2. Click ADD NEW PROGRAM. Complete the fields:
   1. PROGRAM NAME: complete with a customer loyalty program name.
   2. ORDER TYPES: select order types to which the program will be applied.
   3. CONVERSION RATE: set the loyalty-point-to-currency conversion rate.
   4. REDEMPTION RULES: choose whether one certificate can be used for several orders:
      • A certificate can be applied multiple times to different orders
      • A certificate can be applied once to one order only
   5. COMPATIBILITY: define how loyalty points are compatible with discounts and promotions:
      • Loyalty points are applied after discounts and promotions
      • Loyalty points are applied instead of discounts and promotions
3. Save the program.

Step 2. Onboard Customers to a Loyalty Program

To subscribe a customer to a loyalty program:

1. Go to UX1 for Providers or UX1 for Resellers > Loyalty Program > CUSTOMERS tab.
2. Select the necessary customers. Click ADD TO PROGRAM.

Step 3. Add Loyalty Certificates for Customers

To create a loyalty certificate for a customer:

1. Go to UX1 for Providers or UX1 for Resellers > Loyalty Program > CUSTOMERS tab.
2. Select the necessary customers. Click ADD CERTIFICATES. Complete the fields:

   • CERTIFICATES section:

     • Quantity: Define the number of certificates.

     • Nominal Value: Enter a nominal value for the certificates.

     • To add more certificates with other nominal values, click and complete Quantity and Nominal Value for other certificates.

     • To delete a series of certificates, click .

   • EXPIRATION section: set the expiration schedule by choosing one of these options:

     • Certificates expire in: In how many days or months the certificates will expire.
     • Certificates expire on: Set the necessary date.
     • Certificates never expire
3. Save the certificates.

Canceling Loyalty Certificates

To cancel loyalty certificates:

1. Go to UX1 for Providers or UX1 for Resellers > Loyalty Program > CERTIFICATES tab.
2. Select the necessary certificates. Click CANCEL CERTIFICATES.
